Modern Slavery Policy
At Railwhere we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in everything we do. We oppose all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation.
Although we are a small technology business, we recognise our responsibility to respect human rights and to play our part in preventing modern slavery.
Our Business
Railwhere provides software and services to the rail industry. Our work is technology-led and delivered by skilled staff. We consider the risk of modern slavery in our direct operations to be low but we remain alert and responsible.
Supply Chains
Our suppliers are mainly professional service providers, technology partners and hosting providers. We expect all suppliers to meet the same high standards that we set for ourselves and, where relevant, we seek assurances that they are operating free from forced or exploitative labour practices.
What We Do
-
Review our suppliers and partners to identify and minimise risk
-
Factor ethical considerations into our supplier choices
-
Raise awareness within our team of issues linked to modern slavery
-
Act promptly and responsibly if any concerns are raised
Speaking Up
We encourage anyone connected to Railwhere to raise concerns if they suspect any form of modern slavery in our business or supply chains. Concerns can be raised directly with management in confidence and will always be taken seriously.
Continuous Commitment
We will review this policy each year and strengthen it as our business grows. Modern slavery has no place in our organisation or our industry.
